If Opportunities Do Not Knock, Build A Door

It is true that in life we ​​must strive diligently for our dreams and goals and not give up if we want to achieve them.

Opportunities will pass by, sometimes next to us or thousands of miles away, if we do not go out and look for them. What is clear, however, is that they will not be there waiting for us.

We often complain that we do not have the life we ​​thought we would have, that we do not work where we intended or that the opportunities we hoped for never appeared. But did you actually work towards what you wanted or did you just wait for it to happen?

And I do not mean that you have spent an afternoon or a day, but that you have invested time, effort, dreams, determination and perseverance.

Quick solutions to these problems usually do not exist. They require a combination of attitudes and skills as well as perseverance and a passion for what you do. You must also be open to options and have a tolerance for frustration.

Opportunities are created and built in most cases; or rather it is you who creates and builds them. You just have to be clear about what you want to achieve in life and then strive for it.

Formulate your goal in a concrete and simple way; If you only have a general idea of ​​your dreams, specify sub-goals that will take you to your ultimate goal in a positive way. Note, however, that this is a process.

As with any other process , you have to take risks. Of course, you can use previous experiences where you have achieved something to increase understanding and support yourself, even if you were younger or had someone as an example.

Also keep in mind that all risks require you to take responsibility for your actions. Stop blaming others or the circumstances, and have the courage to take control of your life.

There will always be obstacles and fears, uncertainties and disappointments; sometimes even moments when you feel like throwing in the towel. But this is part of the process. I like to think of a line from the movie Into the Wild , when the protagonist mentions that in life it is not as important to be strong as it is to feel strong.

Believe that you can, that you are capable of doing it, and then do it! Even though you sometimes think you have used the right resource or skill, or even made the right decision, you will be confused. You will only know once you have started the journey.

Every crisis, every moment of confusion and every defeat are opportunities to get a little closer to your goals.

Do not be afraid of opportunities to correct and learn from your mistakes. This is what will give you experience to get closer to what you want and closer to yourself. Because when we aim to fulfill a dream or a goal , the path is both external and internal. It gives us opportunities to get to know ourselves and go deeper into our essence, and that is greatness.

When you want something, you should therefore strive for it, take advantage of the opportunity given and build all the doors you need to move forward. You choose the material, shape, color and width of the lock, and then you will find the key that will take you where you want through the door. In short, you choose your attitude to the construction of the door and move in this direction. Be consistent, persistent, and fight.
