How To Be Happy As A Single

How to be happy as a single

I did not find, but I did not search either… I always thought that things happen and that’s it. I did not meet that person who would change my world, and it made me start thinking about whether the search is even worth it.

I remember that there were attempts… but these disappeared like leaves in the wind. Now I can be happy as a single.

Whose fault was it that everything went wrong?

In some cases , there may not be anyone to blame. Life will be as it is. And I feel happy as a single. I have a lot of things on my list that I still want to do in life. I have my friends – people who really appreciate me and like me.

Happy as a single

By now , many people have come and gone in my life. In many of these conditions I have stayed even when we have been different and not exactly worked perfectly…

I feel happy with myself and now I no longer have to look for someone like I did when I was younger.

I could have written a whole book about all my adventures, all my attempts and everything that has happened… and every time I had the same illusion, the illusion that this person will be my life partner.

Many times I have also felt pressured by the expectations of those around me ; that you are expected to have a partner when you have reached a certain age.

But nowadays I wonder what is really normal. Most people would probably answer all the conventional things that our society has revolved around for decades…

But for me, it has never been important what others think and feel about me behind my back.

What is really important to me is to be happy, whether I am alone or with someone else. It is often said that “It is better to be happy alone than unhappy with someone else, but the best thing is to be happy with someone else”.

And so am I. I enjoy life as it is. I have fun with my friends, enjoy the sea and the sun and feel that I can get up every day and be happy.

To be happy as a single and forget stereotypes

  • Be happy with what you have. Think about your situation and learn to be happy with yourself.
  • Avoid thinking about stereotypes. The world is not what it used to be. There are thousands of new ways to live. Single, married, cohabiting, single living are just some of them… the important thing is to be happy no matter the situation.
  • Do not idealize the life situations of others. You are not competing with anyone.
  • Do not get obsessed with things. Have you thought about all the things you could have experienced instead of constantly sitting and thinking about having the perfect partner? Forget all this! The only person who will always be with you is yourself.
  • Choose special people who will be a part of your life. There are special people in our family that we like and friends who are always there for us. Do not miss these amazing people.
